SHOW ME...WHO THE BOSS IS !!!!!!

shoes new look | leggings vero moda | top river Island |blazer bongo

FIRST OF ALL let me just start off by saying YEEEEEEEEEEEY ITS SUMMER. Thank flipping Moses . The sun has finally decided to show itself in my sunless country Ireland. I have been rocking skirts and shorts (without tights might I add) and tank tops. There is something about the sun that makes people happy (and colleges more empty lol).

Anyway I'm loving this outfit cus its just so freaking cool . I wore it to college and it was comfy and yet still so stylish. This blazer is defiantly going to be used ALOT this summer cus I can throw it over most of my clothes (seeing that most of my clothes are black). Nothing else to say about this outfit . So leave a comment and tell me what you think .MWAHHH !!

SHOW ME ...SOMETHING STATEMENT PART 1

I have never been the type of girl who was afraid of standing out in the crowd . I wear luminous  colours  or bright red  lipstick, big necklaces or bright colours to a funereal (okay maybe not that bad BUT you get what i mean ) . To me all these stand out items are what are  called statement pieces so what are statement pieces you ask me?  Statement pieces are ANYTHING (from necklaces to shoes to bags to jewellery to even hair pieces ) that gives your outfit that extra glam  or makes your outfit stand out from the rest. Statement pieces have the ability to turn a boring outfit like jeans and a t shirt to instant glam with a statement like a cobalt blue blazer.

Today my favourite statement pieces is my pencil print skirt from HEATON , YES HEATONS. Heatons for  anyone who doesnt live in Ireland is one of those shops you don't go into cus its the  type of shop well mostly grannies go into . But one day on one of my crazy skip colleges adventures i randomly stepped into heatons ( I'm not going to lie it was mostly to get out of the rain BUT HEY God works in mysterious ways) and what was staring me in the face nothing but this beautiful skirt from the SALES rack at a whooper saving of ten euro. I love it so much i had to wear it TWICE in the space of two weeks. Reducing cost , reuse and RE-FABULOUS !!

SHOW ME...INSPIRATION PART 2

Getting people to read your blog is one of the hardest thing about starting a  new blog and its so nice when people who are already establish taking the time to not only read my blog but answers question for my inspiration pieces. This month i had the pleasure of doing an interview with one of my FAVOURITES blogger out there Fisayo .  Her style is so edgy but yet has an edge of femininity to it , look at her she sums up cool in one picture .Make sure to check out her blog at mirrormemore.

1. What is your favourite fashion trend this spring

I've actually forgotten what the SS13 trends were, it gets so confusing with all the different seasons. I'm not bothered about trends so much but right now, I love white. That's probably what I'm into the most at the moment. Winter whites and then taking that right on into spring.
2. how would you describe your style

My style is a bit of everything. I just try whatever excites me and whatever I've been inspired by at the moment. I think that as I grow up, I might realise what look suits me more and then stick to that but for now, I'm just having fun and experimenting

3. Do you have any bad habits when it comes to fashion ( like being over matchy)
My only fashion bad habit is my shopping habits. I'm like a kid in a candy store when I walk into my favourite stores or look st my favourite online stores as is more often the case. Sometimes, I need to take a step back and think properly.

4. what  country best suits your style
I think it's probably where I live at the moment- England. Sometimes I wish our online department stores had some specific designers like Elizabeth and James or Manolo Blahnik but in general, I think we do quite well with fashion. Otherwise, it would have to be New York City as opposed to the USA as a whole.

5 . and do you think style in Ireland has improved
Style in Ireland? I have no idea! I've never been there or looked into it. Why? Are you from Ireland?

yes i do live there . Lots of designers from Ireland are getting recognition and MY LITTLE OUL IRELAND is starting to poke out its head in the fashion world.

and last but not least
 6. who is your celeb girl crush
That would have to be Mila Kunis- she's way too cute.

I WANT TO HAVE A wedding . My Friends are like but you dont want to get married and I'm like ye but I want a wedding LOL. Its was my sisters (from another mister ) wedding and she looked so beautiful , I love suzette to bits and i wish her and Rab every sucess in their marriage.

On to my outfit i really loved this peplum dress from River Island cus it was very figure hugging in the right places but yet the peplum part hid my tummy after all the awesome food. And my zara straps heel went perfect with this outfit . It was a simple yet elegant outfit.

SHOW ME ...SOME INSPIRATION PART 1

Too say I'm super excited about this post would be the BIGGEST UNDERSTATEMENT EVER . Last week I got the greatest opportunity to talk to one of the biggest bloggers around Sabby Hills. I have loved her tough yet feminine style for long time and when I got to ask her  a couple of questions of it she was more than happy to answer . follow her blog @superstylebaby .

1. What your favourite fashion trend this spring ?

I have a couple of fave fashion trends this spring, I'll tell you my top 4! First is white tuxedo jacket...... I've my eye on a Sandro beauty but will prob buy a Pennys version! Second is beading....love the beading on Oscar De la Renta dresses was gorge! I'm not a huge fan of sequins at the best of times so I'm embracing this look. I've seen a fab pair of affordable heels from Zara! And my third trend this spring is Black and White......I loved Jason Wu's monochrome looks on the runway and I'll definitely be recreating his clean cut look this spring! Fourth and my fave is braiding....(I know you didn't mention hair but it's my passion and what I love blogging) its going to really take off this year and I'm going embracing it. I'm going to do a braid dare soon, watch out!!!

 2. how would you describe your stlye ?

I'd describe my style as classic with an feminine edge but then I can go totally hippy with a bit of grunge thrown in. I find it hard to classify my style because you name....and I've got it in my wardrobe! I buy lots a classic pieces from Zara and topshop but I love adding my own twist with accessories.

3. Do you have any bad habits when it comes to fashion ( like being over matchy) ?
My bad habit when it comes to fashion is being swayed by bargains....or so called bargains. Way too many things in my wardrobe that I haven't worn!

4. what country best suits your style ?
Definitely European either France (my love for Kooples know no end!) or Spain (I'm addicted to Zara and crave the sun!)

5 . and do you think stlye in Ireland has improved  ?
I definitely think it has improved. Between major young designers such as J W Anderson really making it big with collaborations with Topshop and fantastic stylists such as Angela Scanlon making it big in the UK (recently printed as the new big thing in Vogue!) we are definitely making our mark in the fashion world! I think nowadays young women know they're body shapes and styles and definitely veer towards dressing themselves for these reasons and not just because something is in fashion.

 6. who is your celeb girl crush ?
This is something I've actually never thought of! Only because I change my style so often. I suppose my ultimate celeb girl crush would have to be Gwen Stefani. She's definitely a girl who can one day go for a rock chick look and the next can be über glam....and always wear bright lipstick doing it!

HAPPY VALENTINES EVERYONE . I HATE valentines with a passion I probably shouldn't start my post with this statement but i really do BUT this year I actually made an effort to make it 'special ' . I'm currently single ( and happy ) so my single ladies and I decided to make it special by dressing up and making a candle-lit dinner together. (Actually they cooked and I blogged )
I decided to commit to this whole ' loving valentines day ' and wear  my 'if  I could rearrange the alphabet I would put you and I TOGETHER ' CHEESE RIGHT LOL . I dont like pink so if i ever wear it I HAVE to wear it with tones of black as you can see .

Seriously even though i HATE valentines day I do believe LOVE in general is very important and everyone deserve love in their life.

SHOW ME ...BURGUNDY AGAIN !!!!!

Okay I cant get ENOUGH of  the burgundy colour , it has quickly become one of my favorite colours. I wonder if it will still be trendy in the spring and summer i seriously hope so cus for me the burgundy colour  is not going anywhere for a really long time .

Once again the weather in Ireland is a complete disgrace and what is supposed to be Spring feels more like Antarctica winter . I'm actually so sick of this weather its putting everyone in a downer and I swear if i go into college with frizzy hair  from the rain ONE MORE TIME I'm going to cut a bitch lol AND TO make matters worst its valentines day tomorrow wohooo but I'm determine to make this Valentines special so you should too.
